1. Marwell Zoo

A lovely, chilled-out date idea. If you’re looking for a zoo or aquarium in Hampshire area there is plenty to choose from. Marwell Zoo is a beautiful 140-acre park, home to giraffes, rhinos, penguins, red pandas, and much, much more!

2. Funland Amusement Park Hayling Island

If you fancy being kids and heart for the day of your date, then Funland Amusement Park in Hayling Island is the one for you! Arguably not stocked with the biggest thrill rides like Alton Towers or Thorpe Park but Funland offers a great day out with some fun rides and memories to make.

3. Exbury Garden’s & Steam Railway

These utterly beautiful gardens will make a wonderful date idea if you’re around the Hampshire area. The gardens also feature a narrow-gauge steam railway that travels through the gardens themselves. You’ll be blown away by the beauty and tranquility of these gardens!

4. Jane Austen’s House

Visit the house when Jane Austen published all six of her known and loved classics, including Pride and Prejudice. What a romantic date idea! You can explore her home and garden and see where she wrote. Getting up close and personal to her items and including the table where she wrote her novels. We’re swooning just thinking about it.

5. A trip to the beach

A trip to the beach is always a good date idea if the weather is warm enough which hopefully in the comings months, it will be! In the  Hampshire area, there are a few beaches to choose from depending on what you want, but you might want to consider Southsea Beach for a traditional seaside experience, Chichester Harbour for it’s beauty or Calshot Beach, next to Calshot Activities Centre.
