Find Things To Do In Staffordshire

The greatest place in the world

Staffordshire is a county in the West Midlands. This county is filled with many beautiful rivers and stunning sights. Along with historic cities that are interesting to learn about and gorgeous to look at. Potteries are a big reason for why Staffordshire is well known, however there is a lot more to this county than just pottery! With a massive theme park named Alton Towers, we are sure you have heard of, Staffordshire is filled with great activities and awesome days out. Drayton Manor is another brilliant theme park based here. This is not only a theme park but is also connected to a zoo! Home to many animals such as, the meerkat, a red panda, and tigers. These are not the only animals living here, there are many more that you can visit and learn about when entering Drayton Manor Park’s conservation zoo. A great day out in Staffordshire should definitely consist of meeting the monkeys! Based in an ancient Staffordshire forest Trentham Monkey Forest is where you can find these cheeky animals! Consisting of 140 free roaming Barbary macaques. They are all living freely as they would in the wild, so you can experience their lives firsthand. And of course we couldn’t forget that Staffordshire is also home to The National Memorial Arboretum. This is one of the country’s national focus points for remembrance, an extremely important time of year for all. As we pay our respects to those who fought for us.
