BMOS Musical Theatre Company Present Their Summer 2023 Production of 9-5 The Musical

Birmingham’s award winning BMOS Musical Theatre Company returns to The Alexandra stage next month with a spectacular and funny performance of iconic Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5 The Musical.

Set in the late 1970s this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic.

Patrick Pryce, BMOS Chairman said: “We’re thrilled to be able to bring such a funny and popular show to The Alexandra stage this year. It’s such a wonderful venue to perform in and with the entire cast hailing from in and around Birmingham it makes it extra special to be able to perform here. BMOS is all about making musical theatre and performing arts accessible to our local community, and we look forward to entertaining our friends, family and fellow Brummies this month with our production of ‘9 to 5 The Musical’.

This year BMOS and its wider supporters are pleased to be sponsoring a young person associated with Free@last – a Birmingham charity helping children, young people and the wider community of Nechells- allowing them to have access to The Arts environment that would be prohibitive in any other circumstances.

The company is also pleased to announce sponsorship of the show for the second consecutive year from Birmingham based Genting Casinos, to support the cost of putting on a major theatrical production and allow the group of talented members of the Birmingham community to take a break from their ordinary ‘9 to 5’ and experience life on a professional stage.

BMOS Musical Theatre Company will be bringing 9 to 5 The Musical to life at The Alexandra theatre between Tuesday 13 June and Saturday 17 June, including a Saturday matinee which is also a fully signed performance.
