At Woburn Safari Park, there are several VIP experiences to choose from; with each, you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals, learn about them, see where they live, or help the keepers with daily feeds. So without further ado, here’s a list of six memorable VIP experiences that you can treat yourself or close animal lovers with this holiday season:

Winter Safari Adventure

In a VIP Land Rover, visitors are taken on a 1-and-a-half-hour Safari Park tour through the Savannah Grasslands, Kingdom of Carnivores, and African Forest drive-through reserves.

In this experience, you’ll get a whole new perspective on the Park’s incredible animals and their unique personalities from your personal tour guide.

When you visit the animals, an expert ranger will give you a detailed description of each animal’s personality traits, such as its name, character traits, and habitat characteristics.

You’ll learn about animal care, breeding initiatives, conservation, and the unique nutritional requirements of the animals on this fascinating tour.

When it’s warmer outside, this experience is named ‘Safari Off-Road Adventure’ as the VIP Land Rovers have access to drive through more of the animal reserves.

Up Close Encounters

These up-close encounters include a 30 minute guided tour, where you’ll be able to meet your favourite animals at the park. You’ll also gain free admission to Woburn Safari Park on the day of your visit as well as a free guidebook. These experiences include riding in VIP Land Rovers around the Safari – which are not wheelchair-friendly.

Rhino Encounters

It will take you off-road with your own specialised tour guide to visit the Southern white rhinos during this 30-minute up-close experience!

You’ll have an unmatched perspective of the rhinos as they graze right beside you while you learn everything there is to know about these incredible animals.

Lion Encounters

Travel on an off-the-road to visit the Woburn lion pride, where you will be accompanied by a personal tour guide.

As part of this exhilarating experience, you will be brought up close to the lions, allowing you the opportunity to learn everything there is to know about these incredible big cats while also getting to know the particular lions who live at the Park!

Tiger Encounters

Meet the Amur Tigers face-to-face.

This exhilarating VIP encounter with one of the world’s most recognisable big cats provides you with an unforgettable opportunity to learn everything there is to know about these endangered animals.

Giraffe Encounters

This unique opportunity to interact with the Park’s biggest creatures as a VIP guest and learn more about this critically endangered species is one you won’t soon forget.

From May through September, most of the giraffe herd will be out in the open, either in their yard or in their main nine-acre parkland area.As part of your visit to Giraffe Junction, you’ll get to ride in a VIP Land Rover among these magnificent animals. Additionally, you’ll be able to give the herd a delectable gift.

During the winter months (October to April), this VIP Up Close Encounter takes you on an exciting visit behind-the-scenes, into the giraffe house. You’ll be escorted to a specially created viewing platform where you’ll be able to get up and personal with a giraffe and give it a snack.

Elephant Encounters

This Up-close encounter is a one-hour experience with the females of the elephant herd, allowing time for photos and a chat with keepers and your tour guide.

The Asian elephant herd, including the charming juvenile Tarli, may be seen up close in the private parkland. Woburn is the Safari Park in the UK you can enjoy getting this close to these majestic animals. 
As they would in the wild, the elephants will graze calmly alongside you, with no barriers separating you from them.

As part of your VIP experience, you’ll also get a special photo opportunity with one of the adult Asian elephant females.
