Sustainability is highly supported by Paradise Wildlife Park and they have their own ways of reducing their own impact on our earth!

Paradise Wildlife Park set up their own sustainability committee in April 2018 and are dedicated to reducing the impact we have on our earth by making improvements to how Paradise Wildlife impacts the earth and environment. The aim is to lead an example for everyone else and those who visit the park, they want to create a safe and sustainable environment for everyone to live in and be proud of.

So far the committee have been able to create a group who meet once a month to talk about the actions they as a team could take to prevent issues within sustainability in Paradise Wildlife Park. Within this committee there are plenty of different job roles so each person will have different experiences within being sustainable.

Now they have been able to use Vegware which is where they use plant based and compostable disposables to create compost for the park, this stops any leftovers going to waste and is being used to help the planet.

The park have also started using recyclable cups only and no straws other than paper ones are allowed on site. They also only use LED lights in most of the enclosures as they don’t use much carbon in comparison to other lights.
