The gorge is an amazing natural phenomenon that is a must see if you’re in the area! The biggest gorge in the UK is not only an incredible sight it also caters for those of us that like a bit of anventure. Try out their rock climbing or adventure caving! 2. Cheddar Cheese!

To those who are fans of cheese, did you know that cheddar cheese is still being made and stored in the caves to this day? The caves are known to provide the cheese with the perfect humidity for maturing the cheese.

3. The Cheddar Man.

Want to see the oldest human skeleton found in the UK? Look no further than the Cheddar Man located in Gough’s cave. The skeleton has been traced back to the Mesolithic period, making it around 9,000 years old!

4. Dreamhunters Walk-Through Experience.

Take part in a walk-Through Attraction Following the Adventures of Early Man. The experience takes you out of time to consider the human experience, as a pre historic man, in a world without technology.

5. Cheddar Gorge Walk Trail.

What better way to walk off the cheese than a walk around the clliff top of Cheddar Gorge, allowing you to see the some of the best sights in Somerset!
