Chester

Winchester

Winchester Cathedral’s Christmas Market, which is considered one of the greatest in Europe, will reopen on November 19th and run through to December 22nd 2021. It’s known for its one-of-a-kind venue, carefully selected high-quality exhibitors and lively environment.

Every year, around 400,000 people attend the Christmas Market, which is based on traditional German Christmas markets. The historic Inner Close of the Cathedral is home to the original wooden chalets, which sell a variety of enticing seasonal foods and wonderful Christmas presents.

For visitors seeking an authentic European Christmas experience, Winchester competes with any European destination you can think of and it’s consistently ranked in the top ten in Europe. With its various Christmas services, Christmas Market, and festive events, the Cathedral is at the core of the city’s celebration – providing a unique and magnificent experience.

Birmingham

The Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham is a common part of the city’s annual calendar and a huge hit with both locals and visitors from throughout the UK and Europe. Every winter, the opening of the Market brings the city to life, signalling that Christmas is approaching. With booths around Victoria Square and down New Street, you’re sure to find something for yourself.

Outside Germany or Austria, this is the largest genuine German Christmas market. The Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham has a wide variety of traditional goods and presents, as well as a delicious assortment of food and drink.
