This Dog Cafe May Be Coming To A Place Near You
Pug Cafe Events had one of the BEST ideas if we say so ourselves, for incredible outdoor as well as indoor pop-up events for plenty of gorgeous dog breeds!
How it all begun…
Anushka, James and their wonderful pug Bertie represent Pug Cafe. One day in 2017, Bertie became paralyzed over night and was quickly diagnosed with Hemivertbrae. This resulted in him having life-changing surgery which meant he couldn’t leave his crate for a lot of his recovery as he needed rest. This meant Bertie missed out on a huge amount of socialisation with other dogs.
As Bertie began to get better, he would go on walks where they would meet up with other pugs so that they could all play and enjoy each others company. And they saw how happy it made Bertie and swore to never let him miss out on anything ever again!
The group meetups and Berties inspiring story encouraged them to begin Pug Cafe. It was first held in Guildford and the turnout was amazing! Pugs came from all across the UK to socialise with Bertie in a safe and fun environment!
From then on they just kept on expanding…
Pug Cafe
Pug Cafe is an amazing dog events company that organise pop up cafes, parties and discos across the UK, specific to dog breeds.
Dogs, dog owners and dog lovers are all welcome to attend these wonderful events which take place across England! Taking local cafes and bars and turning them into the perfect puppy playhouse with delicious treat stools, a free pupuccino, other dogs to play with, picture spots and much much more let alone them being able to run around off lead!
Past events and upcoming…
Pug Cafe are constantly updating their website with their upcoming events. Some events are themed for a certain occasion such as the Halloween Pom Cafe that took place on the 31st of October, the Cockapoo Cafe for Christmas on the 5th of December and many more!
Event Themes
Throughout the year Pug Cafe likes to keep up with the times and make each event special by creating various themes as the seasons change!

‘It’s Halloween witches!’
This theme is ‘Freak la Chic’ and is filled with plenty of spooky props to represent the theme perfectly! The day is filled with plenty of tricks and treats for the poms to enjoy!
The photo opportunities here were brilliant too with a picturesque pumpkin patch for the dogs to pose in for the gram! They also has an outdoor area organised for the perfect puppy after-pawty (if they arent already worn out)! The best dressed dogs also received prizes for themselves and their owners!
