Over the course of their wine-growing career, the Alder Vineyard’s interest in English wine has blossomed well beyond the bottle. Only love for others is greater than their passion for sharing it with you. So, what are you waiting for?
Invite them to join you on your trip to Devon to learn about the wine-making process, and taste some of the finest English wines. Learn the year-round hands-on activities that go into producing grapes while perusing the vines with Dartmoor’s own wine wizard, Tom. The winery just built a new facility and had an informal wine tasting of their recent releases to celebrate.
“Tingle your taste buds” is another phrase for describing how Devon Kitchen will pique your palate. Tasty cheese and charcuterie platters are available alongside locally-made open sandwiches and baked Devon splits. People can also order a cup of delicious Tamar Koffi or Devonshire tea while they are here.
Tour itinerary
As an added bonus, weekend tours may be booked through their website and start on Friday at 11:30 AM. For this trip, you’ll be able to stroll around the vineyards with head winemaker Tom and learn about the new winery. On a leash, they are dog-friendly; since they are in Devon, pack appropriate footwear just in case.
