Arthur’s Stone is a haunting Neolithic burial chamber constructed of massive stone slabs located in the hills above Herefordshire’s Golden Valley.
This tomb, like many ancient structures in western England and Wales, has been associated with King Arthur from before the 13th century. According to tradition, Arthur killed a giant here, leaving the imprint of his elbows on one of the stones as he fell.
