A volunteer-run theatre that presents a diverse range of performances spanning music, musicals, plays, variety, dance, and stage school weeks.
The Thwaites Empire Theatre has been renamed the Blackburn Empire Theatre, which was formerly known as the Thwaites.
Professional theatre & conference facilities are available for use by a wide range of organisations including community groups and performance groups, local societies and dance/drama schools, companies and education providers from around the North West. Working with agents, artists & touring groups allows them to present a diverse selection of entertainment or events that are appealing to a wide spectrum of audiences in the region.
