Explore the historic parkland designed by Capability Brown with our walks and wildlife trails. Relax and find your favourite spot to picnic and play in this glorious setting
Stretch your legs and take in the scenery around as you wander around our glorious lakes. As you head across Hundred Acre, you will see the lakes glimmering on the horizon.
Gallivant through the East Park, in-between and around the impressive tree clumps which were designed to shield the house from public view. As you loop back around you should approach the wildlife pond where a more natural habitat has evolved, attracting many birds and insects.
Venture through the woodland and navigate your way under the canopy of trees towards the Constable Moby site. It’s likely that the sheep and lambs will be grazing nearby and rabbits may shoot across your path as you head out towards the woodland loop. The flora within the woodland is seasonal and it’s quite an astonishing site when the daffodils are in bloom. Head back down the chalk path where the former aircraft hangers were and admire the wildflowers and peacefulness.
