Based in the original sewage pumping station for Cambridge, the Museum of Technology exists to preserve and exhibit material that is relevant to the Cambridge area, either by its use or its invention. Cambridge Museum of Technology is housed in the Old Pumping Station opposite the white Riverside Bridge built in 2008. Just look for the big chimney!
Cambridge Museum of Technology offers facilitated educational sessions for a range of school groups, drawing on their large and unique collection. Combining the collection with activities that use valuable skills and information, your students are sure to enjoy a day out at the Museum. For larger groups, the museum can combine a number of different activities that teachers can select in order to cover multiple parts of the curriculum.
