The course will cost you £190. This covers materials, safety equipment, and lunch, as well as a full day of one-on-one individual instruction (9am to 5pm). After a course date has been set, menu options will be given to you. A one-day class at Redbourne’s Blacksmith’s Shop is a great way to learn about the traditional craft of blacksmithing. Whether you’ve attempted smithing before or it’s something you’ve always wished to do, these workshops provide an excellent opportunity to develop your abilities with a full day of one-on-one instruction. You may take everything you make home with you!
What will you learn?
– The day begins with an introduction to health and safety.
– The morning will be dedicated to learning and honing your abilities, including firefighting. Splitting, forging, bending, twisting, punching, fire welding, heat treating, and connecting mild steel are all skills they can teach.
– The afternoon may then be spent bringing your concept to life with a hammer and tongs.
