Visit Deene Park
The house has evolved over the course of six centuries, through the Tudor and Georgian eras, to be what it is today. During open houses, a number of the rooms in the family’s home are curated by volunteer guides; visitors can view the rooms used by them during the open days.
House Open Days offer the public access to at least seven rooms, each unique in style. There are many family possessions and furniture pieces at Deene Park that hold sentimental value. Uniquely designed to provide an impression of a family home sustained by many generations, the house offers an impressive yet intimate ambience.
A canal links the formal gardens of this historic house, along the south side, with a landscape of parkland and lakes; at its narrowest point, a fine stone bridge resembles something out of a fairytale.
