The ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle dominate the Northumberland coastline. With a picnic area and beautiful vistas, it’s a fantastic destination for a family day out, and it’s not far from the Scottish Borders.
The Castle was built on a great scale that rivalled any of the time’s castles. The magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle are located on an isolated point accessible only by a delightful beach stroll from Craster.
