From snowdrop season in February, when flowers litter the ground, to bloom season in May, when the trees are ablaze with colour, to their legendary sweetpea summers, Easton Walled Gardens’ seasonal highlights provide endless inspiration. Easton and its Walled Gardens have been brought back to life for the community and the environment since the early 2000s, thanks to painstaking restoration and reinvention. The gardens were revived in 2001. Ursula Cholmeley began chopping through the jungle with the help of friends and family and no money. The site gradually became safe enough to welcome visitors, and by the mid-2000s, planning authority had been granted to develop it into a tourist destination. Easton Walled Gardens is currently widely considered as one of the best-walled gardens in the UK. They have 12 acres in a beautiful valley just off the A1. Thousands of visitors visit the gardens each year to experience the changing seasons, large open sky, swaying meadows, and the rich scent of sweet peas and roses, which are an important part of the local community.
