Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre is a non-profit organization that also operates a small refuge protecting exotic animals as well as birds of prey.

The facility is home to approximately 30 various species of bird of prey. Such as reptiles, primates, invertebrates, raccoons, cats, and many more, as well as a medical section for the care of wild raptors (not on exhibit).

There is nothing more important to them than the health and safety of the animals and birds they take in, therefore their goal statement is to offer the finest caring and welfare for them at all times. The Gentleshaw bird of prey hospital began in the late 1980s, and the sanctuary near Eccleshall opened in 1993.
