They hire out Canadian canoes, 4-6 person Katakanus, sit-on-top kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), day motorboats, and a Cornish Shrimper sailing boat on the stunning upper reaches of the River Alde, near Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Prior to your trip, they will give you a comprehensive briefing about paddle technique, the river itself, the tides and some advice on the best direction of travel allowing for the tide (and sometimes wind) in the available time that you are hiring the boat/s.
