Woodston, Peterborough, is home to a high-fidelity fixed-base Boeing 737-800 simulator, founded by Jonathan Lockton, the director of Jet Sim School Ltd, who launched the company in 2015.
The simulator was designed .to close the gap between the public’s preference for experiential flights and airlines’ use of extremely advanced full-motion simulators. It was developed to a highly sophisticated quality, with all of the elements of the flight dynamics and systems thoroughly reproduced, as well as the true visual, tactile, and behaviour of the controls.
