From thrilling rides to more gentle spins there is something for everyone to enjoy. New attractions for 2021 – Enjoy an exciting expedition through the NEW Go Safari area! Step aboard the Savanna Express on a journey through the African wilderness. Leap for joy on Kangaroo Jump before flying high on Elephant Flight and the Monkey Drop rides. Then head over for a flight aboard the Hot Air Balloon ride.
Children’s Play
- Soft Play: This three-storey high indoor attraction for kids includes a whole host of adventure for little ones to enjoy. They can whizz down slides, maneuvre the obstacle course, bounce over the giant bouncy balls, roll over the body rollers and hop across the stepping stones.
- Jungle Jump: Let your little ones jump around to their heart’s content on their massive inflatable pillow – Jungle Jump! Put a spring in your step as your run and jump across their bouncy castle pillow. Not only is their Jungle Jump inflatable pillow incredibly fun, but it also helps little ones burn off some energy in between theme park rides and get a spot of exercise at the same time.
Entertainment
- Meet Jester and Jasmine, the park’s cuddly dinosaur mascots as they meet and greet families visiting the park. Both characters love a high-five or a photo opportunity so be sure to get your selfies with them before you leave Lightwater Valley. Jester is the mischievous one who loves hats, so if you are wearing one….watch out as he may borrow it for a photo!! Jasmine is his little cousin who likes a cuddle and posing for a piccy! Rides
- Elephant light: Choose your magical carriage and take an Elephant Flight! Fly high and dip down low as your elephant enjoys a spinning flight around in the new Go Safari area.
- Dragon Boats: Located adjacent to the spinning tea-cups, these two rides provide gentle but fun entertainment for their younger guests. Glide gracefully around this circular ride and make sure to wave to your family and friends on the way around.
Food & Drink
Across the site, we serve vegetarian options as well as gluten-free and vegan alternatives. All their chips are fried in gluten-free oil and we have gluten-free bread available too. When dining at Jo’s Coffee Shop visitors can enjoy vegan cheese on their toasties and jacket potatoes.
Scream for ice-cream! Treat yourself to a Carte D’Or ice-cream, pick from a selection of 12 flavours. The perfect opportunity to sit back and relax in the sunshine.
At the top of the Park, don’t miss out on the Rollover Hotdogs kiosk, where you can choose from mouth-watering snacks including Gourmet Hotdogs, Chilli Hotdogs or The Big Explorer Hotdog! Or be tempted by cheesy Nachos to share. You can also grab ice creams and hot and cold drinks there too.
