Originally constructed as a hunting lodge for the sake of the nobility, the family headquarters of the Weld family, the present proprietors of the estate of Lulworth, were for many centuries. It was revived by fire in 1929 and partially restored to a pioneering English Heritage partnership. You may enjoy wide parks, forest walks, a playground for youngsters, a large pitch, a stroll by the dog, or a picnic. The Castle Tearoom is available for eating and souvenirs. The 12,000 acres of Lulworth’s undulating countryside, an agricultural area, and World Heritage Jurassic Coastline are well-known for their stunning land and castle.
