Lyndon Nature Reserve is located on the south side of the reservoir and is the home of the famous Rutland Ospreys as well as one-half of the magnificent Rutland Water Nature Reserve. The Rutland Osprey Project visitor centre (which has amenities, snacks, and a store) is a great place to start your visit. Then take a stroll through the meadows, stopping at a few hides along the way, to Manton Bay, where you can view the nesting ospreys for yourself.
