It’s only the beginning of a thrilling journey to construct one of the world’s most famous and beautiful narrow-gauge railroads, the legendary Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, which will connect the towns of Lynton and Barnstaple in North Devon. When you arrive at Woody Bay Station, you board your train (which is comprised of reconstructed historical carriages) and ride it for two miles to Killington Lane and back, all while being hauled by a narrow-gauge steam engine. All told, the trip takes around 25 minutes. Ride as many times as you like during the day since your tickets are valid for the whole day!
