On a farm in Burnham on Crouch, Essex, the Mangapps Railway Museum is a privately owned functioning railway and museum. It includes a 3/4-mile standard gauge passenger carrying line, as well as restored stations, signal boxes, and other auxiliary equipment from different locations around East Anglia and beyond. The route uses 18 steam and diesel locomotives, as well as over 80 carriages and waggons, some of which are historically and technically significant.
