The last ancestral home of the Macdonalds of Sleat, this magnificent highland estate in south Skye is now operated by the Clan Donald Lands Trust. Visitors can explore 40 acres of historic gardens and woodland walks around the romantic ruins of Armadale Castle, and enjoy stunning views across the Sound of Sleat to the mountains of Knoydart.
Marlow Museum
They are a small museum associated with the Association of Independent Museums, although they are a recognised charity that operates independently. The museum is totally manned and managed by volunteers.
