This is a historic railway that operates steam and diesel-hauled trains that transport tourists to the Swanwick Junction museum complex in Butterley, Leicestershire. On-site, visitors may explore the Railway Museum, the Country Park, the Model Signal Box, the Victorian Railwayman’s Church, and the West Shed Experience, which is also home to the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust, Narrow Gauge Miniature and Model Railways, among other attractions. Trains run over most weekends and on a daily basis during local school break periods.
