Mirehouse’s gardens and playground are open every day from April 1st to October 31st, 2021.
The magnificent, natural gardens of Mirehouse are located in the heart of the North Lake District, three miles from Keswick, and provide breathtaking views of the rugged Lakeland environment. Relax in the peacefulness of the enclosed Bee Garden, wander along the Poetry Walk in quiet contemplation, or rest on the beaches of Bassenthwaite Lake.
Visitors to Mirehouse will be greeted with a casual welcome, enhanced by the house’s unique literary links and exquisite collections. While wandering through this family house, visitors may enjoy the live piano music, unique pictures and manuscripts, and children’s activities.
