The National Videogame Museum’s aim is to gather, maintain, display, and explain videogames for the interest of everybody.
The museum regards videogames as artefacts, techniques, and civilisations instead of just mere code. This entails researching what games are, how and why they are invented, and who developed them. It also involves exploring and documenting who plays them and what they mean to their respective performers.
