The Hunsbury Hill Country Park, which is located at Hunsbury Hill, southwest of Northampton, is home to the Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust. The trust operates a little museum and café, as well as a workshop and, of course, gardens. It has a 1.5-mile-long Heritage Railway line running through the park, with a small part open to the public.
The route is mostly used for freight transport and has several tight bends and high slopes trademark of the Industrial Railway. Rides are provided in a variety of vehicles, including a brake van that has been modified.
