Visit the Nottingham Industrial Museum to learn about Nottinghamshire’s industrial history. Their interesting collection delves into their rich industrial history, from the Industrial Revolution to early twentieth-century communication technologies.
Every weekend, they are open (Plus Bank Holidays, except Christmas and New Year). And they can’t wait to welcome you to five galleries filled with items from local industries including railroads, bicycles, motorbikes, lace, telephones, medicines, and tobacco. Not to mention their one-of-a-kind collection of operational steam and diesel engines. Volunteers run the museum, organise activities, and make your visit memorable. Nottingham Industrial Museum is located beside the café in the Stable Block of Wollaton Hall and Deer Park.
