O2 Ritz Manchester

With the emergence of pop and rock ’n’ roll, O2 Ritz Manchester was transformed into a live music venue, hosting shows from some of the greats including The Beatles and Frank Sinatra. 

With the Manchester music scene hitting a high point in the 1980s and 1990s, the venue hit the spotlight with legendary performances by the likes of local heroes, The Smiths and Happy Mondays to R.E.M. and The Stone Roses. 

In recent years, the venue has seen outstanding live sets from artists including Arctic Monkeys, Future, Gary Numan, Ian Brown, Wilko Johnson, The Maccabees, Method Man, and Redman.
