A major success story on the Manchester food and drink scene with Electrik and Volta, Justin Crawford, and Luke Cowdrey, aka The Unabombers, have joined forces with Kimpton Clocktower Hotel to curate The Refuge Dining Room & Public Bar.

Their menu is inspired by The Unabombers global DJing trips with a range of small and large plates perfect for sharing. Using the best ingredients the North West has to offer, our food takes inspiration from around the globe – with a few stops closer to home.
Dining Room
From small plates to Sunday roast, Volta’s travels inspire our world-influenced Dining Room menus. An informal, yet informed setting for a weekly catch-up or a gathering of your nearest and dearest. Sleeves up, dig in. The Dining Room has proved to be hugely popular, so be sure to make a reservation for evening, weekend, and Sunday Lunch tables.
Public Bar
With no airs or graces, the Public Bar is the beating heart of The Refuge. Coffee and co-working in the morning, board games after lunch, and cocktails and craft ales into the early hours. Our resident DJs curate the experience Thursday through to Saturday with an eclectic mix of jazz, swing, funk, soul, and house.
Den
The perfect spot for birthdays or work dos for you and up to 100 guests. The Den offers a games room for gathering, with pool, foosball, sharing food, and a private bar.
