Rosliston Forestry Centre, a hidden gem in the middle of The National Forest, has something for everyone. All year long, the mix of woods and grassland, ponds, and play areas provides the ideal playground for guests of all ages. If you want to remain for a longer period of time, fully equipped self-catering lodges are ideal.
Take a guided walk, go fishing, hike a nature trail, test your cycling skills, try orienteering, archery, or laser combat, or take advantage of a jam-packed schedule of events and activities – the option is yours. The Glade, a purpose-built outdoor performance location, is also available.
It is a wildlife paradise with kestrels, owls, kingfishers, and waterfowl, as well as bats and butterflies during the summer.
Their Environmental Education Project team is based at the centre, and they plan and run the school and public programmes.
