They perform plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries, as well as commissioning a wide range of original work from contemporary writers. They want to make Shakespeare for everyone, by unlocking the power of his plays and live performance, throughout the UK and across the world.
Their shows begin life in their Stratford workshops and theatres, where they design and build the sets, costumes and props, and rehearse and perform the plays in their theatres.
