It was one of the first of its sort on Newland Avenue when it opened about a decade ago. The name “Sleepers” refers to the café bar’s laid-back ambiance for socialising and informal meals, which is tucked alongside the railway bridge. Sleeper’s provides table service, which is one of the reasons for its popularity. This is the place to go if you want great, freshly prepared food from a diverse menu. From warm paninis to tender rib-eyes, there’s always something new on the menu. Add to it a fantastic selection of drinks ranging from Peroni to Black Sheep, as well as everything in between.
