Since its creation back in June 1997, they have been a pioneering charity organisation, focused on celebrating and educating South Asian Classical dance and music, as well as pushing the boundaries of how traditional and contemporary South Asian arts are taught, performed and experienced by audiences.
SAA-UK has a dedicated team ready to push the boundaries of South Asian classical music and dance. They strive to help individuals find their talents and to allow them to unlock their creative potential. They desire for everyone to develop their confidence and pride and ultimately empower South Asian classical music and dance to create a positive contribution to society and the communities surrounding them.
