Bracknell’s South Hill Park Arts Centre is truly Berkshire’s Creative Heart. Within the grounds of an 18th-century mansion home in Bracknell, there are two theatres, a dance studio, creative spaces, and a cinema. Thousands of people visit the art centre each year to participate in one of the various activities available. Each year, South Hill Park hosts over 300 shows, events, and films, in addition to a bustling programme of over 250 courses and seminars.
From big-named comedians on their warm-up tours to nationally famous ballet groups, and from great in-house drama to an annual pantomime, visitors can expect a reasonably broad mix of entertainment. There are a variety of arts and crafts, drama, dance, and digital media classes available for individuals who want to really immerse themselves. South Hill Park is a community arts centre that hosts a variety of free entry festivals throughout the year, ranging from a two-day food and music festival in June to a Christmas artisan fair in mid-November.
