One of Britain’s best-kept secrets is located three miles east of Worcester, surrounded by beautiful farmland and a deer park. Spetchley is a garden for all tastes, with one of the largest private plant collections outside of the major botanical gardens. Spetchley is a magnificent display of plants, shrubs, and trees woven into a garden of numerous rooms and perspectives, rather than a formal paradise of well-groomed lawns or beds. It is, without a doubt, an ever-changing garden that is undergoing several alterations. The Revival Effort is still in its early stages; it is a ten-year project aimed at bringing Spetchley’s great legacy back to life. From April through October, the Gardens are available to the public.
