Welcome to Stockeld Park!
At Stockeld Park, life never stands still – the family and their close team are constantly striving to ensure that the Estate continues to prosper and bring joy to future generations of family, employees, and visitors alike.
Activities
- The Magical Maze: Climb the castle viewing tower to look out over the tops of the trees to find your friends and get your bearings or cross bridges and discover playful surprises, musical instruments, and some unexpected obstacles! It’s the largest evergreen maze in Yorkshire and the 2000 yew trees used to make it was grown right on the estate at Stockeld Park! At the heart of the maze is a unique sculpture, a revolving stainless-steel globe, designed by a Yorkshire schoolgirl who entered their children’s sculpture competition.
- Pedal Go-Karts: The Go-Karts are a fun way for children to take some exercise in the Yorkshire countryside. The meadow where they are situated is sheltered by the Enchanted Forest where you can continue your great day out discovering fun-packed adventure play areas spread out through beautiful natural woodland.
- Famer Fosters’ Barnyard: Fittingly themed on a rural farmyard, little ones may climb into the henhouse or take a ‘ride’ on the big wooden tractor or monster truck. Crawl through tunnels, roll down hills or just relax on the swings and enjoy the view! Farmer Foster’s Barnyard is fun for kids of all ages and is suitable for the younger kids in the group! It’s also open all day until 4 pm to make sure no one misses out on the fun!
Eat & Drink
- Woodland cafe: you can enjoy fresh, home-cooked meals and treats, including their popular takeaway fresh hot pizza! Food will be served from their Woodland Cafe entrance, for you to take away and eat outdoors in one of their picnic areas.
- Gretel’s Cabin: You won’t need a trail of breadcrumbs to find Gretel’s Cabin deep in the Enchanted Forest. Open on busy days, Gretel’s serves yummy refreshments including hot and cold drinks and snacks for you to enjoy as you make your way through the woodland.
