The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, which was established as a registered charity in 2001 and is situated in Stonham Aspal, Suffolk, maintains a comprehensive facility for the care and rehabilitation of owls from the region, as well as the support of owl conservation throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. The Sanctuary is available to the public throughout the year and is supported by donations from the general public. The following services are provided by the Sanctuary.
The Owl and Raptor Hospital at S.O.S. is completely prepared to care for and treat a large number of wounded wild owls and other birds of prey that are brought into the Sanctuary each year for treatment and rehabilitation. Numerous species of these could be given a restorative overnight so they can recover before being re-released back into the wild the following day.
Each party would be hosted by a member of their helpful staff during the duration of the event. Seeking out the flying displays, seeing the meerkats, enjoying a guided tour, travelling on the S.O.S. Owl Safari, receiving a group portrait made with an Owl, and the party attendees gathering together for one of the activities they have to offer are all part of a typical party. All visitors (including younger siblings) will get a special goody bag, and the happy birthday boy or girl shall receive a complimentary Adopt-an-Owl subscription for a year.
