The Tamar Trails is the outdoor activity centre for this magnificent section of Devon, which is part of the Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. The Tamar Valley site has a cafe, store, historical centre, walking, jogging, mountain biking and outdoor sports suitable for group excursions and family days out in Devon and Cornwall.
The Tamar Pathways Centre has approximately 25km of walking trails. These hiking routes will take you through the forests to stunning vistas of the Tamar Valley and a mining-shaped terrain. The walking paths are located between Tavistock and Callington on the Devon Cornwall border. Get a map in the centre.
