Anno Distillers, Kent’s first gin distillery in 200 years, offers tours and events all year. Since 2011, the creators have been pursuing their passion for handmade spirits, which are painstakingly distilled utilising ancient processes with a modern, scientific twist. During your tour, you will get the opportunity to meet their 300-litre copper-pot still, fondly known as ‘Patience.’ Learn how Anno Distillers combines science and nature to produce the real essence of alchemy.
The Berkeley Castle
This intriguing castle has been the home of the Berkeley family for more than 850 years. It has been used a filming location for many period dramas, including the BBC’s Wolf Hall, Galavant and The White Princess. It was the last place of residence of King Edward II, who was imprisoned in the castle and murdered within its walls.
