The theatre, which opened its doors in 1921, operates as an amateurs and professionals stage for the residents of the borough of Fylde as well as the surrounding community. In addition to theatre plays, concerts, demonstrations, exhibits, and community activities may be held in this multi-purpose building with a seating capacity of 457 people. Lowther Gardens, on West Beach in Lytham, provides a lovely setting for this charity, which is administered by a Charitable Trust.
