The National Museum of Computing houses the largest collection of working historical computers in the world. You can follow the evolution of computing from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s to the vast mainframes and big systems of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, to the rise of personal computers. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 among their valued visitors and crew, they have implemented new social distancing and hygiene measures. In order to ensure they meet all government requirements for opening and ensure they maintain the necessary social distance, the following measures have been put into place: – Timed tickets to avoid overcrowding, one-way traffic to minimize congestion.
