Reg Moore, Simon Moore’s father, founded Tockwith Driving Centre 49 years ago in 1970. He was an ex-police officer who intended to instruct drivers under the age of seventeen on a purpose-built training facility with a skid pan and LGV driving courses.
The centre is still operational today and is divided into four divisions:
Driver Training — this is done on-site in a variety of vehicles ranging from karts to cars and trucks.
Motorsports – this refers to the team that uses the track and repair facilities.
Corporate Events — This makes use of the entire property to create a mixed multi-drive event that is tailored to the needs of the customer.
Driver Management has had a lot of success in recent years, with several drivers making it to the top of the Motorsports ladder.
The Tockwith Team has amassed a wealth of expertise over the last 49 years, and the Moore family’s passion and excitement are as strong as ever.
