Tremenheere Sculpture Garden is situated in a sheltered valley overlooking St Michaels Mount. A free-flowing stream runs through the garden with several substantial ponds nearby. The excellent soil and warm climate enable a huge variety of exotic and sub-tropical plants to thrive.
International sculptures including work by James Turrell and Richard Long have been introduced alongside locally sourced sculptures.
The gardens are a wonderful place for children to explore and we have a very popular Children’s Activity Map available. Dogs are very welcome on a lead.
Unfortunately due to the steep terrain wheelchair access is not possible but their highly regarded restaurant Tremenheere Kitchen has stunning views of St Michaels Mount. Also on site is the Artisan Gift Shop with a variety of work by local designer-makers and a wide range of plants can be purchased from the Plant Shop. In January 2017 a new gallery opened which has regularly changing exhibitions.
