Wicksteed Charitable Trust owns Wicksteed Park, a Grade II Listed Park and Garden.
The park was established in 1921 as part of Charles Wicksteed’s illustrious legacy, which extends far beyond the Recreation Park. Charles was a well-known entrepreneur, inventor, and engineer.
The magnificent park and gardens, as well as the rides and attractions, are still available to families!
Around 30 exciting rides and activities are spread across 147 acres of gorgeous rolling grassland.
Just a few options are reading a book amid the trees or playing football with your entire family and friends.
