The Duke and Duchess of Bedford’s family residence is Woburn Abbey. The home and grounds are now closed for renovations, and will reopen to the public in 2022.
The award-winning historic gardens cover 28 acres. When the 6th Duke of Woburn inherited the estate, he commissioned Humphry Repton to plan improvements to the gardens and park. Using the public trails, take a stroll across the deer park. As you wander through the Repton-designed environment, keep an eye out for nine different species.
