Exmouth, Devon’s World of Country Life is a family-owned visitor attraction. The park initially opened in 1978 and has since grown and expanded, collecting several accolades along the way to becoming one of the finest family days out in Devon! We’re celebrating 40 years of family outings this year!
The museum is open to the public. In our Victorian Street, you may visit the clothing store, the game keeper’s home, the ironmongers, the dairy, and even the bar! The gamekeeper’s hut provides a true feeling of how people lived in the past — educational enjoyment!
Don’t miss the Hall of Transport, which has one of the greatest classic automobile and historic vehicle collections in the South West, with over 40 vehicles on exhibit. You should be able to recognise the star automobiles from ITV’s Downton Abbey and Mr Selfridge, as well as the BBC’s Parade’s End – toot!
Our Exhibition Hall provides a unique glimpse into rural life, nostalgia, artefacts, and bygone eras.
The farming show features an incredible collection of farm and agricultural machinery, some of which may be seen in action. The museum has a large collection of agricultural technologies from Victorian to modern times.
While you’re here, the kids will be entertained! Go-karts, soft play zones, the Barnyard Theatre, the animal nursery, and crazy golf are just a few of the activities available in any weather.
